A whole house by the sea
Room for the whole crew, five minutes from the beach.
Honister Way is a whole house in Blyth, Northumberland, for project teams, contractors and anyone staying longer than a night. One house, one booking, and the North Sea at the end of the road.
- Opening late summer 2026
- Whole house · exclusive use
- Gigabit full fibre
- Weekly & monthly stays
The house
Being put right, room by room — ready for late summer.
We're partway through a full top-to-bottom renewal: new heating, new kitchen, new windows and doors, and finishes chosen to last. The whole house is let to one party, so a team stays together — proper bedrooms, a real kitchen, and space to spread out in the evening — instead of being scattered across three travel inns.
We're not taking bookings just yet. Leave your details below and you'll be first to hear when the doors open — and you can follow the progress on the blog.

Around here
Blyth is a proper seaside town — beach huts, harbour and all.
After the working day, there's a long sandy beach with a row of painted huts, a pier with a lighthouse at the end of it, a wildlife reserve on the next street, and the whole of Northumberland opening up to the north.
-
Blyth Beach
Long sand, painted beach huts, the pier and the lighthouse at the harbour mouth — and it's almost never crowded.
-
Newsham Pond
A Northumberland Wildlife Trust reserve with resident swans, dragonflies and a dipping platform — one entrance is on the next street along.
-
The working coast
A live port with creel boats, staithes and the offshore wind fleet on the horizon. Fish straight off the boats, too.
-
Gateway to Northumberland
Newcastle is about half an hour south; Alnwick, the castles and the National Park open up to the north. Blyth sits right on the hinge.
The design
Warm, calm and built to last — here's the palette it's being finished in.
Interior photographs will follow as the rooms are completed. In the meantime, these are the finishes the house is being built to.
